Jenny Aston
Jenny’s experience in photography covers all areas – over the last 25 years she has taught and lectured, worked in the press, fund raised to allow independence, exhibited in both one man and group exhibitions across Britain. In 1994 she opened a Studio in Derby, and a second in Stow-on-the-Wold in 2003. She now works in Cheltenham.
She has an exceptional ability to relax and empower her sitters. Her great talent is in translating character, personality and emotion into a single image. Her calm guidance at weddings, her sense of fun during portrait shoots, encourages confidence and trust enabling her to create the elegant and unique images for which she is celebrated.
Her academic study is ongoing – starting with a BA in Bournemouth and a Masters Degree from Derby. She is supported by a fabulous team including her stylist, and her assistant, and works in conjunction with a number of amazing professional organizations.
